Backpack Program

We know the economy is taking its toll on families in our community. To help, Our Neighbors’ Place would like to offer a source of groceries for families experiencing financial hardship.

Through the ONP Backpack Program, a bag filled with nutritious, kid-friendly food items from all the food groups, can be sent home with your child(ren) at their school at the end of each week during the school year. Another option is to pick up the food bags from Our Neighbors' Place Day Center, 122 West Johnson Street, between the hours of 12:00pm and 4:00pm Monday-Friday or by special arrangement. Bags are delivered to Our Neighbors' Place on Tuesdays. Please mark your preference on the form.

If you are interested in your child(ren) being a part of ONP Backpack Program, please complete BOTH sides of the form and return to your child(ren)’s school counselor/office/teacher. 

Families may join the program at any time throughout the school year.
