Your donation directly supports the following programs in Pierce and St. Croix Counties:
Transitional Housing: Stable housing and case management for families experiencing homelessness.
Day Center: Functions as a one-stop shop for anyone needing help with housing, shelter, food, clothing, resources, and referrals. In 2023, the Day Center had over 3,800 points of contact (phone calls and in person visits) from guests seeking help.
Clothing Closet: Provides free clothing vouchers for anyone needing help with clothes, shoes, accessories, or outerwear. Over 1000 vouchers were distributed in 2023.
Backpack Program: Distributes backpacks full of food to children (K-12) whose families are experiencing food insecurity in the River Falls School District. During the 2022-2023 school year, we provided over 28,000 pounds of food and more than 4,000 vouchers for perishable food.
NEW IN 2024! Helping Hands Fund: Provides emergency financial assistance to River Falls and Ellsworth School District households for items such as gas cards, work clothing, vital documents, vehicle registration, phone assistance. haircut, laundry, and more. This program was created to fill service gaps following the closure of ARC (Assistance & Resource Center).
